Award recipients announced at annual MH Chamber event

A number of awards were announced during the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce’s awards banquet and membership meeting Thursday evening.

The Jim Gaston Friend of Tourism Award went to Tommy Hagan.

Yelcot Communications was the recipient of the Chairman’s Award.

The Outstanding Business or Industry Award was presented to Arvest Bank.

Good Samaritan Society was the recipient of the Outstanding Organization Award.

Bob Zdora was presented with the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce Spirit Award. The Spirit Award recognizes an individual or entity acting as an ambassador for the Twin Lakes Area, continuously promoting the community of “Three rivers, Two lakes, One beautiful life.” The recipient of this award captivates individuals, families and businesses and/or industry with the thrill of living/working in the Twin Lakes Area.

The Educator of the Year Award went to Mitch Huskey.

Mark and Kelsey Bertel were the recipients of the Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award.

The final recognition of the Volunteer of the Year Award went to Paul Mruk.
