Credit: John RussoLindsey Buckingham recently announced plans to play his first concert since undergoing emergency open-heart surgery early last year…and now the ex-Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist has lined up a series of U.S. solo tour dates in the spring.

The 12-show trek kicks off on April 25 in Las Vegas and is plotted out through a May 13 concert in El Cajon, California.  He’ll also play a previously announced gig at the 2020 Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 3, the final day of the three-day event.

Among the other cities the 70-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will visit: Boulder, Colorado; Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis; Atlanta; Wichita, Kansas; Oklahoma City; and Tucson, Arizona.

Tickets for most of the shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 14. Visit LindseyBuckingham.com for more details.

Buckingham’s wife, Kristen, reported in a message on her Twitter feed last February that Lindsey’s vocal cords were damaged during the heart operation, and she subsequently revealed that he had been meeting with a vocal specialist.

In her most recent tweet, posted on New Year’s Day, Kristen wrote, “The best time for new beginnings is now.’ That’s what Lindsey said lately and I think he’s right.”
