Madness adds L.A. concert to spring US tour; band releasing new best-of compilation in May

Courtesy of MadnessMadness recently announced plans for a brief series of U.S. tour dates in May, and now the veteran British pop-ska band has added a May 24 concert at the famed Greek Theatre in Los Angeles that its itinerary. Th show will feature opening sets by The English Beat and Mighty Mighty BossTones.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster, while pre-sale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, March 3, at 10 a.m. PT.

The other concerts on the trek take place on May 21 in Boston, May 22 in New York City, May 25 in Las Vegas and may 27 and 28 in Oakland, California. The English Beat will serve as the support act for all of these shows with the exception of the Las Vegas event, which is part of the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling festival.

Just in time for the tour, Madness will be releasing a new compilation on May 15 called Our House: The Very Best of Madness. The 12-track collection will feature songs spanning from the band’s 1979 debut single, “The Prince,” through the group’s 2019 standalone single, “Bullingdon Boys,” and will include such memorable hits as “It Must Be Love,” “House of Fun” and, of course, the top-10 smash “Our House.”
