The folk-rock legend won’t be on his own when he hits the road: Roots rockers Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Western swing trio Hot Club of Cowtown will serve as opening acts throughout the trek.
Hot Club of Cowtown previously toured with Dylan in 2004, when they joined Bob’s co-headlining trek with Willie Nelson.
This year’s tour features 25 dates, and includes a June 13-14 stand in Berkeley, California, as well as performances in San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nashville and New York City.
Prior to the stateside outing, Dylan — who turns 79 in May — is scheduled to play a lengthy run of Japanese shows in April, although, as Rolling Stone points out, it’s unclear if fear over the COVID-19 coronavirus might lead to the overseas shows being canceled.
