BC government offices closing to public Monday

The COVID-19 threat has led to Baxter County Judge Mickey Pendergrass announcing late Friday effective Monday public access to county offices will be suspended.Judge Pendergrass says elected officials and employees will staff offices and will be available by phone, email, or appointment.

Individuals will be subject to screening upon entering a county building with appointment.

Pendergrass asks those wishing to conduct county business to utilize online and telephone services.

Contact numbers will be posted on county building doors and is available on the county’s website.
