MH City Hall doors closing temporarily to public

The City of Mountain Home has joined a lengthy list of governmental offices closing its doors to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.City officials said late Wednesday, after careful consideration, it was decided to close the doors beginning Thursday.

All employees will continue working at the location between 8 and 4:30 Monday through Friday.

Members of the public may continue to conduct business with the city by calling ahead and an employee will meet them at the door for assistance.

Numbers to call are 870-425-5116 for the mayor’s office, human resource coordinator and treasurer’s office; 870-425-2550 for the building inspection department for those needing permits and licenses; and 870-425-5943 for City Clerk Brian Plumlee.
