Brick oven, brew restaurant tops March MH building permits

A remodel project with a price tag of $400,000 for Buncles Brick Oven and Brew topped the list of building permits issued by the City of Mountain Home in March.

According to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department, the permit was issued to Beers Investment Group for the project located at 1406 U.S. Highway 62 East. The project covers 6,600 square feet.

A permit for the construction of a storage building for Baxter Healthcare was among the 10 issued in March.

The report notes the permit was issued to Gregory Construction for the 3,500-square-foot facility to be located at 1900 Arkansas Highway 201 North, with a construction value of $186,000.

A permit was issued to KBSS Land Company for a duplex to be located at 936 South Church Street, #2. The 1,300-square-foot project has a construction value of $150,000.

Mastec Network Solutions secured a permit on behalf of AT&T for a tower to the located at 514 Coley Drive. The project has a construction cost of $85,000.

A permit for an addition was issued to Custom Homes of the Ozarks for owners Bryan and Tawny Rose. The 266-square-foot project has a construction value of $30,000.

Two other permits were issued for storage buildings. The first was issued to Dana or Grey Steveson for a 168-square-foot facility with a construction cost of $4,900. The second was issued to Christopher and Christina Kelley for a 60-square-foot facility with a construction cost of $300.

Three sign permits were issued in March. Topping the list was a permit to Dijohn Designs for SNC Tile, located at 1251 U.S. Highway 62 East. The project has a construction value of $2,985.

A second permit was issued to Dijohn Designs for Bodi Shoppe Salon & Spa, located at 1406 U.S. Highway 62 West. The project has a construction value of $600.

A permit was issued to D Sign Inc. for a sign replacement for Allstate Insurance Company, located at 401 South College Street. The project has a construction value of $450.

Total construction value of the 10 permits issued in March was $904,335.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of March totaled $3,862, including the actual cost of building, electric, mechanical and plumbing.

The city building and inspection department handled 32 inspections for the month.
