An area teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Taylor Barao of Gainesville was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center with what were described as moderate injuries.
Barao was traveling on Missouri Route J when his pickup truck ran off the roadway 12 miles southeast of Gainesville. The truck struck two driveways, went airborne, hit a fence and overturned. Barao was not wearing a seatbelt.
Barao’s truck was totaled in the 12:10 p.m. accident.
