Power has been restored to over 2,000 North Arkansas Electric Cooperative customers served by the Mallard Point substation in northern and eastern Baxter County. The co-op reported the problem occurred about 11:40 Tuesday night. By midnight, power had been restored to all but about 600 customers in the East Robinson Point area. Power was fully restored around 3:30 Wednesday morning.
No word yet on what caused the outage.
