The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas will hold a mass distribution of fresh produce and frozen chicken Tuesday from 11-2 in Yellville. The food will be free to local residents in need and will be distributed at the former Fred’s building on State Highway 14 South.

The distribution is made possible through a donation from the North Central Board of Realtors and the Mountain Home Lion’s Club and is intended to assist local families in need related to the COVID-19 crisis. Food Bank CEO Jeff Quick says, “We’re blessed with incredible partners like our local realtors and Lion’s Club members and appreciate their willingness to help us help our community in this way.”

The semi-load of fresh produce and chicken will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is part of six semi-loads of food brought into the region by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas this week in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
