A Newton County resident has been reported missing. Newton County Sheriff Glenn Wheeler is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20-year-old Jonathan Barrett Brantley of Mount Judea.
Brantley was reportedly last seen Thursday night in the Mount Judea area, and he was going to another residence near Mount Judea where he did work for the owner. His direction of travel once he left is unknown. His phone was found at the residence where he had been working.
Sheriff Wheeler says he is receiving several offers to help with the search, but there is currently nowhere in particular to send search parties. If that changes, his office will call for volunteers.
Brantley drives a silver 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with temporary tags. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Newton County Sheriff’s Office at 870-446-5124, option 1.
