North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) has announced a planned outage that will affect 3,000 member accounts across Izard County on Thursday night.Beginning at 11:30 p.m., the outage will impact members served by the Brockwell and Pineville substations, including the areas of Bandmill, Brockwell, Calico Rock, Culp, Mount Olive, Newburg, Optimus, Oxford, Pineville and Wideman.
NAEC says the outage will last fewer that 15 minutes, but must be done to allow personnel to perform transmission maintenance safely.
Affected members should have received an automated call Wednesday morning at the number NAEC has on file.
