Law enforcement is searching for a man last seen in northern Ozark County wanted for questioning in a homicide case.

Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase says in a Facebook post authorities are searching for 54-year-old William Wolfe Jr. His address was not provided. No information about the homicide was provided in the post.

Sheriff Degase says Wolfe is known to be violent and possibly armed.

He is believed to be driving a black 2010 Chevrolet truck, license plate 0PCC77. He was last seen in the area of Rockbridge/Almartha/Wasola and is known to frequent the Brushyknob area in Douglas County.

Anyone who has seen Wolfe or is aware of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 417-683-1020 as soon as possible.

Sheriff Degase says do not attempt to help or hide Wolfe, as he is dangerous.
