MH Council faces light agenda in Thursday meeting

The Mountain Home City Council will review a one-item agenda for its regular monthly meeting Thursday evening at 6.On the agenda is an effort to refinance water and sewer bonds, which could result in savings of close to $350,000 for the city. In the council’s previous meeting, Mayor Hillrey Adams said it was time to capitalize on the current low interest rates and presented some details of the efforts.

Wastewater Director Alma Clark, as well as Paul Phillips of Crews & Associates, will both be in attendance to answer questions.

The meeting will be held in council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.
