A two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in Marion County resulted in the death of one driver and injuries to the other. Fifty-eight-year-old Teresa Caststeel of Yellville was pronounced dead, and 32-year-old Matthew Berg of Flippin was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Caststeel was traveling on U.S. Highway 62/412 east of Flippin when her SUV crossed the centerline and struck a pickup truck driven by Berg. Both vehicles overturned, and Caststeel’s SUV exited the roadway.
The road was dry, and the weather was clear in the 6:14 a.m. accident.
