A Saturday morning motorcycle accident in Ozark County resulted in moderate injuries to its occupant. Eighteen-year-old Gavin Phelan of Wasola was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Phelan was traveling on Missouri Route Y, nearly 6 miles south of Wasola, when he failed to negotiate a curve. His motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete embankment.
The motorcycle was totaled in the 9:20 a.m. accident.
