
Licenses were issued for nine new businesses by the City of Mountain Home in October, according to Jeannie Anderson in the building inspection department.Among those receiving a business license were John Bingham for White River Trading Company, a screen printing and embroidery business, located at Nine East Fifth Street, and David Plahm for SIP Resources, LLC, an industrial design consulting entity.
Christopher G. Webb, MD, PA, obtained a business license for his practice, located at 624 Hospital Drive, along with Tammy Self, new owner of The Uniform Shoppe II, LLC, a scrubs and accessories retail establishment, located at 361 Arkansas Highway 5 North.
Licenses were issued to four home-based businesses. They include Marcus Henson for Henson Fencing; Carlos Blandon for Blandon Drywall and Painting; Bryan Callantine for Callantine Carpentry, LLC; and Ava Obert for The Art of Ava.
The final license was issued to Melissa Vandiver for a 30-day permit for Sweet Peep 3D/4D Ultrasound. The entertainment ultrasound business will be located at 1029 U.S. Highway 62 East.
Total licensing revenue for October was $8,532, including alcohol tax, occupational and pet licenses and garage sales.
