
The Mountain Home High School boys’ basketball team’s three-game winning streak was snapped Thursday at Springdale against Har-Ber. Matt Sharp has the details.

The Bombers ended up falling to the Wildcats 57-44. Mountain Home had a 5-4 lead, but Har-Ber then went on a 10-0 run to end the first quarter and never trailed again. The Bombers cut the margin back to six in the second period, but they would get no closer. The Wildcats only committed four fouls on their way to a 13-point victory.
Mat Jones led Mountain Home with 21 points. For Har-Ber, Miles Rolfe scored 14 points, Jermaine Tilford had 11, and Aaron Oliger added 10.
The Bombers fall to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats improve to 4-1.
Both Mountain Home teams will conclude their runs of three consecutive road trips on Saturday, as they head to Cabot.
