Tuesday basketball schedule includes MHHS conference openers at Alma

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule, as Mountain Home begins conference play in a new league, the 5A-West. It will be the second of four straight road trips for the Bombers and Lady Bombers, as they go to Alma.
Mountain Home’s girls are 1-10 on the season. The Lady Bombers are coming off a loss Saturday at Jonesboro. Alma is 6-4. The Lady Airedales’ last game was Wednesday, when they picked up a win at Dardanelle.
The Mountain Home boys have a record of 4-5. The Bombers wrapped up non-conference play by falling at Jonesboro. Alma is 4-2. The Airedales were edged out by Dardanelle on Wednesday.
The girls’ game tips off at 6 p.m. at Charles B. Dyer Airedale Arena followed by the boys’ contest. Both games can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Also in the 5A-West, Greenbrier hosts Greenwood, Vilonia entertains Siloam Springs, and Russellville travels to Van Buren.

Elsewhere, Cotter is home against Mammoth Spring, Norfork makes the trip to Calico Rock, Flippin hosts Decatur, Yellville-Summit heads to Rogers to meet the Arkansas Arts Academy, Bakersfield entertains Eminence, Gainesville’s boys travel to Thayer, the Dora boys are home against Koshkonong, Viola makes the trip to Brockwell to face Izard County, Marshall hosts South Side-Bee Branch, Lead Hill entertains Mount Judea, Bergman is home against Valley Springs, and Jasper heads to Oark.
