The Gainesville High School girls’ basketball team was able to take third place in the Sparta Lady Trojan Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs edged out Chadwick 41-40.
Salem’s boys had a rough outing at home, as they fell to Bergman 78-52. Asher Fultz led the Panthers with 25 points, Walker Patton scored 21, and Anthony Hodge added 10. Bergman improves to 17-4 on the season.
