Basketball makes up much of the local Thursday schedule, and Mountain Home will have three junior high teams returning to the Hangar, as Douglas MacArthur comes in from Jonesboro. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 4:30 followed by both freshman contests. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
In other junior high action, Cotter travels to Yellville-Summit, Calico Rock makes the trip to Mountain View, and Bergman hosts Elkins.
On the high school level, Ozark Mountain faces Lead Hill at North Arkansas College in Harrison, Gainesville’s girls entertain Mansfield, the Dora boys are home against Hartville, Dora’s girls head to Houston, Marshall hosts Conway Christian, Timbo entertains Rural Special, and Omaha is home against Mount Judea.
