The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is advising area motorists to watch for road crews, as they will be out on three area highways this week.
Missouri Route H in Ozark County will be closed Monday from 7:30 to 4 for MoDOT crews to replace the culvert under the roadway. The closure will affect the highway’s entire length from the intersection with U.S. Highway 160 to the intersection with Missouri Highway 181. Motorists are urged to seek an alternate route.
A culvert will replaced on another road in Ozark County, forcing the closure of Missouri Route PP Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30 to 4. The closure will affect the entire length of the road from the intersection with Highway 160 to the intersection with Route H. Motorists are urged to seek an alternate route.
MoDOT crews will also be working this week on a roadway in Howell County. The westbound portion of U.S. Highway 60 will be reduced to one lane from Monday at 6:30 a.m. through Thursday at 3 p.m. for crews to cut brush and trim trees. The 24-hour construction zone begins at the intersection with County Road 1550 and continues west to the intersection with Missouri Route RA near Willow Springs. The zone will be marked with signs.
