The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams were able to finish conference play unbeaten, as they traveled to Beebe to face the host school and Sylvan Hills.
The Bomber boys ended up beating the host Badgers 50-24 with individual wins from Ayden Lyons, Drue Yonkers, Isaac Donais, Austin Callies, Michael Davis, Joseph Pierski, Brayden Daniels, Lawson Stockton, Elijah Lagg and Aidan Richey. Mountain Home also topped Sylvan Hills 51-24 and captured individual wins from Tristan Blount, Yonkers, Ross McDonald, Davis, Donais, Callies, Daniels, Stockton, Lagg and Richey. The Bombers are 9-0 in the 5A-East, and they’ll travel to West Plains on Tuesday.
Mountain Home’s girls defeated Beebe 48-12 and had victories from Emalyn Stephens, Kayla Kirek, Amelia Adams, Emma Martin, Gracie Wisniowski, Victoria Bevel, Maranda Jones and Amelia Frounfelter. The Lady Bombers topped Sylvan Hills by the same exact score and had wins from Stephens, Adams, Martin, Wisniowski, Laurel Chafin, Bevel, Jones and Frounfelter. Mountain Home ended up 5-0 in the league and will compete in the inaugural girls’ state duals Saturday at Searcy.
