A COVID-19 vaccine clinic is being held in Marion County. The clinic at the Marion County Fairgrounds will continue until 2 Thursday afternoon.
State Rep. Jack Fortner says 250 doses are available to those who are eligible on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arkansas is in Phase 1-B, which means anyone age 65 and older can get the shot. Also eligible are those who work in education; police, fire and other first responders; jails and correctional facilities; food and agriculture; essential government; grocery store and meal delivery; postal and package delivery services; public transit; houses of worship; and manufacturing. Also, those with intellectual or developmental disabilities may receive the vaccine.
