No. 15 Arkansas women meet Wright State in NCAA opener

Arkansas will play its first game in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in six years. The 15th-ranked Razorbacks will be on the University of Texas campus in Austin Monday, as they meet Wright State.

Arkansas is the fourth-seeded team in the Alamo Region. The Hogs are 19-8 after getting upset by Ole Miss on March 4 in the SEC Women’s Tournament.

Wright State, located in Dayton, Ohio, enters the tournament as a No. 13 seed. The Raiders defeated IUPUI March 9 in the championship game of the Horizon League Tournament to improve to 18-7.

Tip-off at the Frank Irwin Center is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday’s game can be seen on ESPN.
