A regional college basketball team is looking to finish the season with a national championship. The Drury women are in Columbus, Ohio, preparing to meet Lubbock Christian Friday evening for the NCAA Division II title.
Drury is 24-1 on the season. The Panthers from Springfield are coming off a nine-point win over Lander in Wednesday’s Final Four. Lubbock Christian is trying to finish the season unbeaten. The Lady Chaps are 22-0 following a two-point win over Central Missouri in the second semifinal.
Tip-off at the Greater Columbus Convention Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday’s game can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.
