Zachary Spaulding and Victoria Bevel
Zachary Spaulding and Victoria Bevel were named Mr. and Miss Mountain Home High School for 2021 Wednesday morning.
The award is presented by the Mountain Home High School FBLA chapter, in partnership with the Mountain Home Education Foundation (MHEF).
Spaulding and Bevel will each receive $1,000 scholarships from the MHEF.
Whit Lawrence and Lauren Dewey were named first runners-up and will receive $500 scholarships. Sophie Quick and Jacob McGehee were second runners-up and were awarded $250 scholarships.

The FBLA chapter began sponsoring the event in 1966, and more than 10 years ago, the MHEF partnered with FBLA to provide the $3,500 in scholarship awards. Contestants for Mr. and Miss MHHS were selected by the faculty based on student achievement while in high school. The faculty considered school spirit, school involvement, academic achievement, leadership, career goals, community involvement and attitude when selecting these students.

Contestants who were interviewed by a panel of MHHS alumni and scored using a rubric were: Mattie Belk, Victoria Bevel, Marcie Cudworth, Lauren Dewey, Sarah Godfrey, Gaby Gross, Reagan Hasselwander, Kenzie Hatman, Grace Hilvert, Lauren Loving, Emma Martin, Anna McGraw, Emily Payne, Sophie Quick, Mandelyn Smeltzer, Gianna Taylor, Gracie Uchtman, Olivia Wham, Addison Yates, Logan Ballard, Tatum Beshears, Quentin Brill, Benjamin Camp, Sam Campos, Wyatt Gilbert, Gage Hershberger, Daxton Hickman, Luke Hinson, Clayton Jones, Tucker Koester, Whit Lawrence, Drue Lindsey, Jacob McGehee Zachary Spaulding and Lawson Stockton.
