Repairs on a cut fiber cable in the Twin Lakes Area are underway. According to a Windstream spokesperson, repair crews were able to reach the site of the damaged cable in Pyatt at 6, and service is expected to be restored later Friday morning.
The cut has caused multiple telephone outages and problems across the area. Telephone service, fax service, calls from cell phones to land lines and calls from land lines to cell phones are having issues until the cable is repaired.
