Another member of the Mountain Home High School football team will be continuing his playing career on the collegiate level. Senior Logen Walker signed a national letter of intent Thursday to join Westminster College.

Walker was drawn to becoming a Blue Jay after making the trip to Fulton, Missouri. He says the visit to the campus felt like home to him.

Walker is coming off a year in which he set the Bombers’ single season school record for receiving with 46 catches for 864 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was also selected by MaxPreps as Arkansas’ top kick returner with 1,210 total yards for an average of over 100 return yards per game. During his All-Conference season, Walker helped Mountain Home turn around from 0-10 in 2019 to 6-6 in 2020 and a spot in the state quarterfinals.

Walker says the improvements the team had were in part because everyone, players and coaches, came together as a unit.
