The Arkansas Activities Association has released its brackets for this week’s state soccer tournaments, and Mountain Home is one of two schools to compete on the girls’ side.
The Lady Bombers will be in Siloam Springs Thursday as they meet Hot Springs Lakeside to start the Class 5A State Tournament. Mountain Home was able to secure a state tournament berth in their last match of the regular season on Wednesday when they shut out Alma, and they’ll be the fourth-seeded team from the 5A-West. Lakeside enters the tournament as the champions of the 5A-South. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Harrison will host the Class 4A State Tournament this year. The Lady Goblins, coming off a 4A-West conference title, will be paired with Hope Thursday at 10 a.m.
