MH girls fall in state soccer tourney; Harrison girls advance

The Mountain Home High School girls’ soccer team ended on a tough note Thursday in the Class 5A State Tournament at Siloam Springs. The Lady Bombers fell to Hot Springs Lakeside 2-1.
Kenzie Hatman scored Mountain Home’s lone goal on a penalty kick, and Haven Klinger recorded 18 saves. The Lady Bombers ended up with 21 takeaways.
Mountain Home’s final record is 6-9-3.

Harrison’s girls had a dominating day as they began hosting the Class 4A State Tournament. The Lady Goblins beat up on Hope 8-1.
