The North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, along with the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30 Mountain Home, will hold the city’s annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday. The event will begin at 11 a.m. and will be held at the Mountain Home Plaza 2000.
Commander Dan Hall of DAV Chapter 30 Mountain Home will be the event’s featured speaker. Ceremony participants include a brass ensemble from the Mountain Home High School Band, vocalist Raquel Houk, the American Legion Post 52 Honor Guard and color guards from various patriotic groups.
Cupcakes and coffee will be served immediately afterwards at VFW Post 3246.
