Mountain Home’s American Legion junior baseball team will take the field Tuesday for its season opener. MacLeod will be in front of the home crowd as they welcome Harrison to Cooper Park.
Mountain Home’s first opponent of the year was also their final opponent in the previous season. MacLeod was eliminated by Harrison in last year’s Arkansas American Legion AA State Tournament at Fort Smith.
Brent Smith is preparing to start his first season as MacLeod’s head coach, and he is looking forward to getting the year started after seeing the team in their scrimmage on Saturday.
