A 54-year-old Harrison man suffered “suspected serious” injuries in a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning just north of Midway.
According to an incident report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, John Walter Yauch Jr. of Harrison was traveling north on the highway when a deer came into the roadway and caused him to wreck at approximately 2:15 a.m. Sunday. The report indicates the motorcycle collided with the deer in the right, front area of the bike.
Yauch was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center via ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The report notes there is no suspicion of impairment by Yauch.
