
The St. Louis Cardinals’ five game home stand continues Tuesday as they return to interleague play. The Redbirds will start a two-game series with Cleveland.
St. Louis is currently in third place in the National League Central as they trail the Cubs and the Brewers by 2 1/2 games. The Cardinals were swept in a four-game series by Cincinnati over the weekend, extending their current losing streak to five games.
The Indians are in second place in the American League Central as they trail the White Sox by four games. Cleveland was able to take one win out of a three-game series at Baltimore.
Carlos Martinez will get the start for the Redbirds, and the Indians will go with Shane Bieber. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 7:15. Tuesday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:20 with Ameren Total Access.
