The Mountain Home Lockeroom won its opener Friday night in the Texarkana American Legion Tournament in Texas. The Lockeroom beat the Camden Pulpwood 19-and-under team 11-6.
Will Uchtman picked up the win as he pitched 3 1/3 innings and struck out three batters. Uchtman, Gage Harris and Reed Ellison each provided two RBIs for the Mountain Home offense.
The Lockeroom improves to 6-2 on the season.
