The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team was able to wrap up the second day of the Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic with another win Friday. The Lockeroom defeated North Central Arkansas by a final of 5-1.
Reed Ellison picked up the victory as he pitched a complete game and struck out 10 batters. Trevor Leisenring suffered the loss with five innings and six strikeouts.
Gage Harris and Tyler Guffey led the Mountain Home offense with two hits and an RBI each.
The Lockeroom improves to 10-3 on the season. North Central Arkansas falls to 3-3.
In the earlier games, Paragould shut out the Tropics from Scott City, Missouri, 7-0, Branson topped Eureka, Missouri, 9-5, Pontotoc, Mississippi, got past Batesville 15-11, and Bartlesville, Oklahoma, edged out Russellville 3-2.
