
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team earned a double header sweep of North Central Arkansas at Cooper Park Tuesday night.
The Lockeroom took the first game 11-3, scoring eight of those runs in the first three innings. Gage Harris had three hits for Mountain Home, Tyler Guffey and Keegan Rickman each had two hits and Wyatt Goodman drove in two runs.
On the hill, Tucker Koester worked all six innings, striking out eight and allowing just five hits to earn the win.
In the second game, the Lockeroom topped North Central Arkansas 5-2. Logan Ballard and Bryson Benedict combined to work five innings and allowed just four hits.
Will Uchtman and Guffy each had two hits for the Lockeroom.
