
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team was able to pick up its first win in the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament Friday in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Lockeroom shut out the Kickapoo Chiefs from Springfield by a final of 3-0.
Reed Ellison was credited with the victory as he pitched 6 2/3 innings and struck out nine batters. Wyatt Goodman led the Mountain Home offense with two hits, Dawson Tabor provided a hit and drove in a run, Gage Harris added a hit, and Will Uchtman had two RBIs.
The Lockeroom will wrap up play in the Ralph White Pool Saturday as they meet the Oklahoma Mudcats. The first pitch at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
