Lockeroom wins last pool game, clinches wild card spot in Oklahoma tourney

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team was able to secure the wild card spot after winning their last pool game in the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament Saturday in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Lockeroom defeated the Oklahoma Mudcats 8-1.

Carter Graves picked up the victory after pitching five innings and striking out two batters, and he also performed well at the plate with two hits and an RBI. Gage Harris and Dawson Tabor also had two hits, and Tyler Guffey drove in three runs.

Mountain Home advances to bracket play Sunday as they meet Sioux Falls West from South Dakota. The first pitch at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m.
