A woman from Flippin was involved in a two-vehicle accident in Christian County, Missouri Thursday night that sent a Missouri woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the vehicle driven by 43-year-old Rae Foster of Flippin did not stop at a stop sign and was crossing Missouri Highway 14. The second vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Charity Yates of Aurora, Missouri struck a trailer being towed by Foster’s truck. Following the impact, Yates’ vehicle ran off the road and overturned. Yates, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vechile. She was taken to a Springfield hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Foster was not injured.
The crash happened at 9:20 Thursday night one mile east of Clever.
