
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team wrapped up their home season Thursday night by winning a double-header against Bergman.
The Lockeroom cruised to a 17-0 win in the first game, scoring 11 times in the third inning for the mercy-rule victory. Carter Graves led the offense with two hits and six runs batted in, Logen Walker had two hits and drove in five, Will Uchtman had two RBIs and Keegan Rickman added two hits.
Logan Ballard struck out six in three innings to get the win.
The Lockeroom took the nightcap 5-0. Walker drove in two more runs. Bryson Benedict earned the win on the hill, striking out five in three innings of work.
The Lockeroom will play in the Grove, Oklahoma Showcase Baseball Tournament this weekend with two games Saturday and two more on Sunday. They will travel to Bergman Tuesday night and then next Friday, will open play in the AAA State Tournament at Conway against Cabot.
