Mountain Home High School’s agri teachers recently returned from Hot Springs with more than 50 awards and certificates earned by Mountain Home students over the past school year.
The teachers picked up the awards while visiting the Spa City for teacher in-service. The awards are typically presented to students or agri teachers at the state’s Future Farmers of America state convention, but there was no in-person convention this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Josh Baker, one of Mountain Home’s agri teachers, talks about the awards his students won this year.
Listen:
Baker said the Mountain Home FFA chapter has about 200 members each year.
