After a day off Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals return to action Tuesday evening with the start of a two-game series in Cleveland. The Redbirds are 50-50 and are eight games behind Milwaukee in the National League Central. The Indians are 49-48 and trail the White Sox by 8 1/2 games in the American League Central.
Adam Wainwright (7-6) starts for the Cardinals while Cal Quantrill (2-2) goes for the Tribe.
