The Salem High School athletic department’s fundraiser is coming up next month. The 30th-annual Greyhound Classic is scheduled for August 7 at the Golf Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend.
The shotgun start for the two-person scramble is set for 8 a.m. The cost is $100 per team, but the cart rental is not included. Salem head golf coach J.W. Blevins says there are approximately spaces available for 20 teams and nine golf cart rentals available.
The tournament will be divided up into four flights, and prizes will go to the top three teams in each flight. Prizes will also be determined by the number of entries.
