The Mountain Home City Pool has announced that is once again offering open swim sessions.

The pool had halted open swim last week after a lifeguard was diagnosed with COVID-19 and the facility’s unvaccinated staff had to be tested. A small crew of vaccinated employees continued the pool’s water aerobics classes and scheduled pool parties.

The pool now has enough lifeguards to once again offer open swim, it said Wednesday afternoon on social media.

All of the pool’s locker rooms, public areas and office spaces are cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis.

For the time being, the pool will offer adult swim sessions from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays and from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Open swim sessions will be offered Mondays-Fridays from 12:30-4:30 p.m. and from 7:30-8:30 those evenings. Open swim will also be available from 12:30-4:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission to the pool is $4 for swimmers and $1 for spectators, with kids 2 and under getting in for free. Individual season passes are $70, with additional family members costing $50 each. A 25-visit pass is available for $55, and a 10-visit pass is available for $35.

The pool is scheduled to remain open through Labor Day on Sept. 6.
