A 22-year-old Mountain Home man was given five years in prison with a judicial transfer to one of the Community Correction Centers in the state for addiction treatment.

Bryar Jacob Bone was arrested July 5 after a Gassville police officer responded to a residence along Mountain Loop for a trespassing complaint.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Bone was located in the garage of the residence.

His mother confirmed to officers that her son was not supposed to be on her property.

Bone also had two outstanding arrest warrants.

The arresting officer said prior to putting Bone in his patrol car, “I noticed him continuously turning his body away from me and trying to reach into his right front pocket.”

When the officer emptied Bone’s pockets prior to taking him to jail, he found a number of items, including a small plastic bag containing material field-testing positive for methamphetamine.

The state dismissed a petition filed against Bone for violating the terms and conditions of his probation in earlier case.
