
A one-time broadcaster of Mountain Home sports has retired after nearly 38 years in the insurance business. Lewis Barnes’ last day with Shelter Insurance was Saturday. Barnes spent several years in the late 80s and early 90s helping out with Mountain Home High School football and basketball broadcasts on KTLO.
Barnes says he got started broadcasting games when he and station owner Bob Knight got to talking about sports one day and it grew from that.
