The Mountain Home Community-Based Outpatient Center (CBOC) has announced that the Department of Veterans Affairs has authorized the CBOC to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to everyone ages 12 and up.
You do not have to be a veteran to receive a COVID vaccine at the CBOC.
Area residents wishing to be vaccinated should call the CBOC at (870) 594-8387 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday or Wednesday to make arrangements to complete the paperwork required. The deadline to request a vaccine is Wednesday and the vaccines will be administered by appointment on Friday.
The vaccines are free, and patients may request any of the three currently available COVID vaccines when they call.
The CBOC’s vaccination event may also be used by patients who received their initial dose of the vaccine somewhere else but then failed to get their second immunization.
