Mountain Home issues 16 building permits in June

Building permits issued in Mountain Home for June reflect $14.4 million in construction, with one project carrying a $12.4 million estimated construction cost. A total of sixteen building permits were issued in June according to a report from Jeannie Anderson of the city’s Building Inspection Department.A permit was issued to BRMC AR Care for a medical facility located at 639 Hospital Drive. That project has a total space of 33,765 square feet and has a construction value of $12,370,580.Rip Gresham was issued a permit for a single-family residence to be located at 116 South Sheeks Drive. The 4,006 square-foot house has an estimated construction value of $450,000.

Riverwalk Enterprises received five permits for duplexes located on Turnberry Court, with each duplex having an estimated construction value of $250,000. Three of the duplexes have 3,984 square feet of space, while a fourth duplex has 2,035 square feet of space and the fifth one has 2,032 square feet of space.

A permit was issued to North Arkansas Electric Cooperative on behalf of Gregory Company for a commercial building located at 1520 Highway 62 East. That building has a total space of 9,000 square feet and has an estimated construction value of $248,000.

Jim Cagle received a permit to add a sunroom to a residence located at 1711 Ashbriar Drive. The 252 square foot addition has an estimated construction cost of $16,000.

The city also issued seven sign permits in June.

Slick Lube/Castrol was issued a permit for a sign located at 1350 Highway 62 East with an estimated value of $10,000.

A permit was issued to Arisa Health/Ozark Guidance, located at 8 Medical Plaza, for a sign with an estimated value of $5,500.

America’s Car Mart was issued a permit for a sign located at 2077 Highway 62 East with an estimated value of $5,000.

A permit was issued to Quality Inns and Suites, located at 1031 Highland Circle, for a sign with an estimated value of $4,043.

Clay Maxey Chervolet was issued a permit for a sign located at 1413 Highway 62 East with an estimated value of $2,000.

A permit was issued to SIP Resources LLC for a sign at 625 Highway 5 North that has an estimated value of $1,039.

The Mountain Home Church of Christ received a permit for a sign located at 380 North Street. That sign has an estimated value of $1,000.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of June totaled $23,509, including the actual cost of building, electric, mechanical and plumbing permits.

The city building and inspection department handled 56 inspections for the month.
